ANS Training center is a leader in the field of training of air traffic control specialists in Latvia.

ANS Training center (until 28^th September 2010 the name of the Company was Limited Liability Company Air Navigation Service. Training Centre) has been in business since 1997 and has accumulated vast experience in the field of training of air traffic controllers, air traffic control technical personnel and other aviation specialists in the areas connected with air traffic control, aviation safety, air navigation system maintenance and state-of-the-art aviation technologies, Aviation English, personnel planning and management. For over 10 years we have held also private pilots training.

Trainings at our Training center are provided in compliance with the requirements of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) and Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Latvia (CAA). The Company has implemented the quality management system pursuant to ISO 9001:2000 Standard.

At the turn of 2008 LR CAA successfully evaluated ANS Tarining center as a provider of air traffic controllers training in compliance with the requirements set in Regulations No.563 of LR Cabinet of Ministers dated 21^st July 2008 “Certification of Air Traffic Controllers’ training service providers and Air Traffic Controller license issue, maintenance and recognition” and issued Certificate No. LVA/ATS TO/01. This entitles to deal with the initial, unit, development and continuation training for Air Traffic Controllers. The course completion certificates issued by ANS Training center are recognized in the European Economic Area member states.

Our Training center fully complies with the conditions set in the Regulation (EC) No. 1108/2009 of 21^st October 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the training organizations, which provide the personnel professional training of ATC service providers. We have devices necessary to perform obligations associated with the training organization: premises, staff, equipment, methods, missions, obligations and procedure documenting, access to relevant data and record keeping. ANS Training center implements and maintains the management system associated with safety and training standards.

Since 2010 ANS Training center has been a member of the Latvian Transport Development and Education Association, as well as an associated member of the transnational “Eurasia” Coordination Council. This Council is comprised of Air Traffic Control enterprises of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Our Training center is also engaged in the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) Advisory Group on issues related to the training of air traffic specialists (Agency Advisory Group for ATM Training – AGAT).

On the 21^st of February 2011 ANS Ltd was registered in the State Service Education Quality of the Republic of Latvia as an official “Educational Institution”, which enables to provide training also in the fields unrelated to aviation.

Using its long-standing professional experience and technical expertise ANS Training center and ANS Ltd. also offers consultations on various aviation – related matters, also the Company is engaged in marketing, installation and maintenance of radars, radio communications and other communication equipment, public alarm and warning systems, as well as people and objects control systems.
